Take advantage of the summer break to maximize athletic performance by attending Amarillo Strength & Conditioning’s summer strength and conditioning camp designed specifically for student-athletes. The demands of sports are vast and require a wide range of physical traits such as strength, power, speed, agility, and unrelenting stamina. Our Student Strength & Conditioning Camp will be a comprehensive two-day per week program designed to emphasize all of the physical attributes that are important to student-athletes, performed in a positive team-building atmosphere. Participants will also receive advice regarding nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention. All that is required of the participant is his/her motivation and a willingness to work hard - we’ll provide the equipment, instruction, programming, and RESULTS.
Camp A: 10-13 years
Camp B: 14-18 years
The Summer Strength & Conditioning Camp will be offered in two 4-week blocks and camps based on age of the athlete: Camp A1/B1 June 4th - June 27th, and Camp A2/B2 July 2nd - July 30th. Classes will run Tuesdays and Thursdays: Camps A1 & A2 10:00 am-11:25 am, Camps B1/B2 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Each class will begin with a group warm-up followed by barbell instruction and strength work. Roughly 25 minutes of each class will be dedicated to high-intensity conditioning and/or speed training and agility work, followed by cool-down.

Traditional Barbell Lifts - Squat, Press, Bench Press, Deadlift, and Power Clean
Agility Work and Reactivity
High-Intensity Conditioning
Bodyweight Movements/Calisthenics
Sports Nutrition, Recovery, and Injury Prevention
Participants are expected to arrive on time and dressed in appropriate workout attire.
Participants under 18 years must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian prior to class participation.
