FITCAMP for HER - Fall 2018

Join us for our strength and conditioning camp designed specifically for women.

STRONGER – Each class begins with strength training. Participants will be provided complete and thorough instruction on fundamental exercises that increase strength, balance, and mobility.

FASTER- After strength work, participants will be challenged with high intensity conditioning designed to increase speed, stamina, and cardiorespiratory endurance. No two conditioning workouts are the same. Workouts are tailored for women and are created to GET RESULTS.

LEANER – Since body composition is mostly dependent on quality and content of fuel consumed, participants will be consulted individually about optimizing macronutrients and calories to achieve training and/or body composition goals.

Student Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning classes for students offered on Saturdays 11am-12:30pm. Each class begins with a group warm-up and agility course work. An hour is dedicated to strength training. Each class is concluded with a high intensity interval training for maximum cardio output. Email heidi@amarillosc.com to get on our class notification list.

Pack your lunch in a shaker and join us for a midday strength training session under the barbell. Black Iron Lunch is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11AM-1PM. To accommodate various lunch schedules, Black Iron Lunch is conducted as open two-hour strength session, meaning you can come and go as you need to during the two hour class period. Come in, change, and we’ll get your lifts on point and on time.

  • Increase lean muscle mass.

  • Learn how to train with a barbell safely and effectively.

  • Learn how to appropriately incorporate strength training into your current program.

  • Receive individualized training at the fraction of the cost of a personal trainer.

Student Strength and Conditioning Camps

Take advantage of the summer break to harden the mind and body by attending Amarillo Strength & Conditioning’s summer strength and conditioning camps, designed specifically for student athletes. The demands of sports are vast and require a wide range of physical traits such as strength, power, speed, agility, and unrelenting stamina. Our Strength & Conditioning Program will be a comprehensive two-day per week program designed to emphasize all of the physical attributes that are important to student athletes and will be performed in a positive team-building atmosphere. Participants will also receive advice and instruction on nutrition, the importance of recovery, and the prevention of injury. All that is required of the participant is his/her motivation and a willingness to work hard. We’ll provide the equipment, instruction, programming, and RESULTS.

Fit & Fabulous is a women's high intensity conditioning class that includes various training disciplines organized to get you fit and fabulous!  Introductory gymnastics movements paired with high intensity interval training will challenge you without leaving you sore beyond function.

Classes Times:  Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8:30-9:30am
